Description
This poster was made to evoke the simultaneous euphoria and pain that trans people experience when they bind; a practice that involves using a piece of fabric to squeeze one’s chest in order to hide breasts. The bruises and bandaids represent pain, while the lighting and bright colors represent euphoria. Creation of the poster involved a process that was a majority analog and had a very tiny amount of digital processing done. In this poster, Liam is the subject and wearing his own binder, and the bruises were created with makeup.
